We are Prepack

Prepack is a ‘can do’ organisation. We tailor our flexible operation to deliver your needs anywhere in the world, whether you need ration packs for combat personnel, medical officer’s kits, stationery packs or humanitarian aid. The possibilities are endless.

Our aim is simple – to create convenience for you and your customers.

A short history

Prepack was borne out of the need to precisely pack combat ration packs for the Australian Defence Force. It began as a joint venture between Multi-Pack Limited and Prepared Foods Limited, recognised leaders in the production of nutritionally designed ration packs and components. Both identified the need for a total solution dedicated to fulfil the rigorous specifications required by customers such as the world’s defence forces. Prepack was the solution, taking knowledge from over 60 years of combined experience gained by both companies.

Prepared Foods Limited

Prepared Foods was established in the 1960s as a pioneer paua business with an eye for innovation. Today, they are proud to be New Zealand’s largest processor of Paua (Abalone) and have expanded into producing unique and innovative ready to eat meals for global retail and foodservice channels. Prepared Foods are part of the largest Māori owned fisheries company in New Zealand, Aotearoa Fisheries Limited. They bring a wealth of experience to Prepack.

Multi-Pack trading as Portion Pack Foods

Multi-Pack (New Zealand) is a specialist provider of shelf stable food produced in New Zealand. With over 20 years’ experience in feeding the troops in New Zealand, Australia and beyond, they are able to offer an extensive range of food products with an extended shelf life requiring no refrigeration. It is this expertise, honed over the intervening years which allows Prepack to provide extensive menu customisations to suit varied dietary, cultural, religious or nutritional needs.
